Default Costumize your own armor color.

Hey all,

Dont you find it annoying you cant create the type of color you want on your armor. Or after spending 10k on dyes you are close to your goal, but still not satisfied? Then think with me and lets convince the GW staff that they should change things in the dye process!

I found it to hard to get the color type I want on my armor. Sometimes I spend over 10k on dyes option which im satisfied with. But mostly it isn’t really what I had in mind.
The old FoW monk tattoo pattern had amazing dye options (see link below). I really like the different type of colors. These days they are like the other link shows you. Pretty plain colors and not really exciting. I think the idea of some sort of color table/circle is nice. Like when you create your cape color. Something like that. And once you have a mix of colors which you are satisfied with, the dye trader calculates how much dyes of which color you have used and makes your price. Like: Different types of dye (obviously a black dye is worth way more then others) x Volume.

Dye options on just a random monk armor type.

p.s: I know that fow armor obviously dyes better cause its way more expensive but the difference how it used to dye (on tattoo) + these days is just a BIG difference. Much more plain and no exciting colors.

Let me know what you think + more idea's on dyes are welcome.

Dye preview options have been discussed to death unfortunately. In regards to your post though I like the idea of the calculated price, because then you can say for example, "ok I like this colour", note down the price, then go back and see if you can make the same colour with a cheaper mixture.
But in turn for that to work, you'd need to be able to see what the final colour would look like on your armour first.

It isn’t just that the dye preview should be changed. It's the variety of colors you can make with the basic dyes available at the dye trader.
I showed you guys the two different links. You have to agree with me that the fow colors showed there are way better than the usual dye mixes from these days. I know why they changed it cause that particular monk armor (tattoo) dyed a bit strange. For example: an orange dye turned into some sort of baby blue on the armor.

Why not leave these colors (dye mix) what they used to be without making them impossible to mix......( actually you cant mix them cause they aren’t available anymore)
I dont see the problem with some new color options on all the armors. It isnt that hard to add some new colors.......
